Innovative audio guidance system helps blind and visually impaired guests navigate the open-air destination more independently
PEACHTREE CORNERS, Ga. (August 31, 2026) – The Forum Peachtree Corners has enhanced its guest experience with the installation of Hear2There, an innovative accessibility technology designed to help blind and visually impaired visitors navigate the property independently through location-based audio guidance.
Using a free smartphone app, Hear2There combines GPS technology and strategically placed smart beacons to provide spoken information about entrances, pathways, restrooms, parking areas and other key destinations throughout the property. The system serves as “audio signage,” providing guests with real-time orientation and navigation while visiting The Forum.
“At The Forum, we strive to create a welcoming, comfortable environment for our guests to explore everything the destination has to offer,” said Eric Hines, director, Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regional lead of asset management at Jamestown. “Launching Hear2There’s platform is a meaningful accessibility milestone and we’re proud to support Peachtree Corners’ leadership in innovative, inclusive technology.”
The Forum is one of the first major commercial destinations to participate in the Hear2There program as part of the City of Peachtree Corners’ accessibility rollout, which made the community the first in the United States to implement Hear2There on a citywide basis. Through the initiative, participating businesses and public spaces are working together to create a more connected and accessible experience for blind and visually impaired individuals, while also helping local businesses become easier to discover and access.

The Forum joins a growing network of participating locations throughout Peachtree Corners. Guests can access Hear2There by downloading the free Hear2There app on smartphone devices before or upon arrival to The Forum.
